As an aside. I was having issues with reports not displaying recently, hence installing with apt. Whilst troubleshooting I found your mail https://lists.gnucash.org/pipermail/gnucash-user/2023-October/109024.html I added a comment to bug 799095 about it not just being NVIDIA drivers. Thanks again.
