I have run into a situation that got me thinking and it is making my head
hurt.
I accidentally ran a search on a result register from the Since Last Run
Druid before I was done reviewing those results. Now there is no way that
I can find to recover the list of transactions that were created.
Should I request an improvement to Since Last Run or to the search
function? Or to both?
I've always worried that I might accidentally close that Created
Transactions tab, so I created a work around for myself to find those
transactions again.
I don't use the Notes field in my workflow, so I pasted "Scheduled
Transaction" (without the quotes) in the Notes field for all my
scheduled transactions on the Template Transaction tab. This gives me a
way to find those transactions again using Find from the Accounts tab.
My Find Transaction has two search criteria: Notes contains scheduled
and Date posted is on or after the 1st of the month for the created
transactions.
This takes time to setup if you have a lot of scheduled transactions.
It is not an elegant solution but it gives me what I'm looking for.

Bruce
