I recently tried to upgrade my GnuCash to 5.8 version, and it took my Windows 10 computer down. I had to have it repaired by the people who build it for me.

The install failed part way through, and after hanging for 15 minutes, I turned the computer off. When the computer came back on, I could do nothing with Gnucash, bluetooth, and wireless no longer worked.

I installed 4.14, but today the selection of an account under the column "Transfer" has stopped showing the full path of the account, and only shows the lowest level account. I'm trying to select CAD - Expenses~Cost of Transportation~Car~Gas~Esso, and the list only displays "Esso".

I'm guessing people will suggest I upgrade to 5.8, but taking into account what happened last time, you'll appreciate my reluctance. Besides which This function was working fine yesterday.

Does anyone have a thought on this?

Grace
