Try not using a chatbot to write code?

First, did you go through the debugging section of that wiki page? Is there nothing in those steps to provide hints of what is wrong? (at the very least, the Tracefile should contain complaints about the report not loading)

After those steps are exhausted, or you've found warnings/failure messages but don't know what to do about them, if Mailman will allow it, try posting your report here, maybe as a txt file instead of scm. Otherwise, if you have it on something like Github or other repository, just link it here in a reply. (along with the contents of your config-user.scm file)

This could be a simple syntax error.

Adrien

I am quite new to GnuCash. After using it to keep track of my personal
finances for a couple of months, I am now trying to get custom reports to
work.

Using ChatGPT I've made a custom report in Scheme language. It, however,
does not show up in GnuCash. I've also tried loading a basic sample report,
that also doesn't work. Therefore I concluded something is wrong with
getting reports to load in GnuCash in the first place. I understand the
code from ChatGPT might contain mistakes, but I am not able to load
anything.

What am i missing? I am following all instructions on
wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Custom_Reports. I added a config-user.scm file and
added the line to load the custom report. What else do I need to do?

I am using GnuCash 5.8 on Windows 11.
