Should the Advanced Portfolio report make sense for an account of type Asset (not Stock)?
I have lent money for 5 years at a fixed rate (like a bank CD). I have set the loan up as an Asset account. The variable interest is paid monthly and added to the loan amount. Since the loan amount is growing, the monthly interest is growing. I do an Advanced Portfolio report on just that one Asset account. The report correctly shows the Money In and the Income. However, the Rate of Return is too high as it appears to not take into account the amount of time. Is this a bug or a limitation? Is there an easy way to convert this Asset account into a Stock account? _______________________________________________ gnucash-user mailing list [email protected] To update your subscription preferences or to unsubscribe: https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-user ----- Please remember to CC this list on all your replies.
