I put GNC 5.10 in debug mode and I see following snippet if it helps:

After launching newly installed GNC, it is showing Warning: Finance::Quote not installed properly. for Quote Source Information in the Edit Security Window, and Price Database à Get Quotes button is greyed out. This had no issue with GNC v4.14 and was retrieving quotes perfectly fine. The installed version of F::Q is 1.62 but Help à About in GNC shows no string which wasnt the case with GNC 4.14. I do have couple of custom F::Q modules for which minimal changes were made to F::Q to include those personal modules, and because of that I have held back to this version. Is this a known incompatibility by any chance? I am aware of that reinstalling F::Q could fix the problem but I am trying to refrain from doing so at the moment. Far as I know there should not be any direct coupling between two as long as the contract is maintained between them which I am very well aware of what that looks like. Any insight is welcome. _______________________________________________ gnucash-user mailing list [email protected] To update your subscription preferences or to unsubscribe: https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-user ----- Please remember to CC this list on all your replies.
