I just went through this. Be aware that the path in the link John sent points
to the wrong place.
You need to create the following file:
~/Library/Application Support/GnuCash/gtk-3.0.css
Which should contain something(s) like this:
* {font: 13px Lucida Grande, sans-serif;}
The online documentation wrongly directs you to create ~/Library/Application
Support/GnuCash/config/gtk-3.0/gtk-3.0.css.
