Hi,
I tried a variety of combinations after you email. Ultimately, I deleted
everything that was in '.local/share/gnucash' and let it repopulate from
opening up Gnucash. The reports save and the style sheet choice now
saves with saving a report configuration (no more crashes). I edited the
fancy style sheet (including a name change) to add a background .gif.
This saves with the style sheet but:
* When I create a new style sheet but it is not there when I shut down
Gnucash and reboot.
* Any style sheet colour changes do not save when Gnucash is shut down
and rebooted.
* I have not tried using CSS.
Thanks for the suggestion of deleting things and repopulating. This
worked part way. Further suggestions??

Perhaps the problem arises from a corrupted saved-reports-2.8 or
stylesheets-2.0? Does it work better if you (with GnuCash *not* running) move
those out of your GnuCash config directory and start fresh?

I was able to get my previous 'saved-reports-2.8' to access reports but when I
attempted to save a report, Gnucash crashed and I not longer had access to the
old reports. In that, I began redoing my saved reports, but ran across an
inability to save new style sheets or style. Also, the selected style sheet
does not save in the report.
How can I get my style sheets working again?
