As someone who has managed E-Mail lists in the past and *frequently* had problems specificly with Yahoo, I would guess Yahoo is having trouble.
*I* have been receiving E-Mail from the gnucash-user list over the past few days, without any interuptions. I expect there are some interesting log messages and a backed up send queue waiting for Yahoo's inbound server to resolve its issues...
