Hi. I hope I’m sending this to the right email address. I’m still kinda a Gnu-bee.
I have developed a good, workable layout for my various accounts. They all seem to work fine with the various columns that were set up by default. There is one account that I have (one of my credit card accounts) that has mysteriously added a column called “RATE.” It’s at the very right edge of my ledger and has a whole column full of 1.000s in it (one for each entry). I am assuming that it is for some kind of foreign currency exchange rate or interest rate. I don’t need it and cannot get rid of it. I tried to find out about currency exchanges in the online manual but couldn’t find anything about a RATE column (I don’t even know how to find out what a RATE column is used for). I’d like to know how to delete it but also where to go in the manual to find out about adding or deleting columns. I LOVE GnuCash!
