This is something like my pension check, which gets direct deposited on the "last business day of the month". I just schedule it for the last day of the month. If it makes any difference, I hand edit the date after the fact. I am not sure if it makes too much difference if the GnuCash scheduled date might not always match the actual date of the transaction.
