Hi Keith,
There is a known issue introduced in the official 5.13 release that
causes crashes and has been addressed for 5.14. As there are no
official nightly builds available on Mac, I suggest waiting until 5.14
becomes available (planned for December 21). If there is some fix in
5.13 which you need sooner, you can build gnucash yourself.
