Hi List,
It does appear as though the nightly flatpak does NOT have the issue.
So just need to wait for the Arch repository to catch up.
It is interesting though that the issue was fixed mid-late last month,
and then made a comeback in the stable releases.
Thanks All,
Jeff.

Hi List,
It seems as though this issue is back. As reported by a few other
threads, GnuCash is crashing again on paying bills or invoices.
I noted a lot of the responses are "This was fixed In Oct patch" and
it did indeed seem to be fixed back then. It appears as though it is
now back.
Trying to run GnuCash to mark some invoices as paid and it is
constantly crashing. Note, if I pen the "Pay Invoice" dialog and then
Cancel, it still crashes.
Build: 5.13 Build 5.13-unknonw-commit(2025-11-06)
Again, this is on EndevourOS will all the latest updates applied.
Data store is a Maria Database.
Is this regression a known issue, and do we have a current fix in place?
Note, I have not tried the nightly patches, as this is a fairly new
build, and all the responses I've seen so far just reference the fix
being applied in October, which it was, as I sucessfully ran it after
that fix for a couple of weeks.
I'm going to try creating a new Ubuntu machine with flatpak to test it.
Regards,
Jeff.

Sorry list, Just saw that there were more responses than I had
originally seen on the Linux Mint subject. Looks like it might have
ben resolved in a new nightly build, now just to wait for Endeavour
(Arch) to update the package.
Regards,
Jeff.

Hi Jeff,
Your attachment doesn't appear to have made it but the issue sounds
a lot like:

Hi List,
Just to add to the growing list of crash reports. Since updating
to GnuCash 5.13 I have also been experiencing regular crashes when
assigning payment for Invoice or Bill in GnuCash. Note this does
not happen every time, but at least every 3rd time a payment is
processed. (I think I also got one when I clicked on Print Invoice,
but not sure of that.

I have attached the debug trace and the command line errors when
running the debug trace. (Hopefully the attachments get through and
are of some help.)
Had to remove the zipped trace files, as the message was rejected
as it was detected as a virus.
