I just noticed that Etrade offers QFX downloads. I tested this instead
of my usual CSV import and I want to report success.
My download consists of
* Dividends
* Dividend Reinvestments
* Deposits from external sources
There were no buy/sell transactions, though the dividend reimvestents
are effectively buy transactions.
The first time through, I had to associate the account, and each issue's
stock and income account as they popped up during import. This should be
familiar to OFX users. The import is dependent on there being a defined
security before import.
Anyway, the good news is that the import went perfectly and I'm very
pleased.
