Before getting too far in why or why not the 'unvoid' works, I'd ask:

1. Why do you have 100s of voided transactions? Voiding is not a 'normal' condition. This should be very rare.

2. Why then do you need to 'unvoid' them?

3. Why would you void, then unvoid, then delete?

If you want to maintain a trail without editing or deleting, the proper action is to reverse a transaction. You can of course, always reverse a reversal if you mistakenly reversed it the first time.

If you keep having to do these steps, I'd say, "slow down" when doing your entries in the first place.

Finally, there is no rule you can't just edit a transaction. But I do understand why some folks prefer to make correcting transactions instead. (like the old pen & paper days)
