Sometimes a folder delete will fail because files or folders are open in some process and so cannot be removed. Often a reboot enables a clean folder delete, killing the problem processes and closing their file attachments. Under Unix, I used fuser on stubborn files to find what process I needed to kill (task manager in win), and i am sure Win 11 has a similar facility! https://www.google.com/search?q=win+11+equivalent+to+linux+fuser Renaming the folder is another way to ensure the folder is rebuilt by the installer, and then, maybe after a reboot, you may find that you can delete the old folder. _______________________________________________ gnucash-user mailing list [email protected] To update your subscription preferences or to unsubscribe: https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-user ----- Please remember to CC this list on all your replies.
