Assuming you got the file via gnucash.org, then your antivirus is 
producing a false alarm. (This is of course better than having it miss 
genuine viruses.)

This has been discussed several times in recent days on this list.

There should be some way to inform the AV that the file is in fact safe 
and can be returned from the quarantine (which is the reason for having a 
quarantine in the first place).

If you got the file from somewhere else, then get the genuine one 
instead.
