Better control to be had with CSV since you can align (or re-align) columns for import and, if and when they change the format.

It is easy to save the setup to use csv files, but OFX just works, so is my first preference. My bank only offeres qif or csv, so I use CSV there, & my Credit Union uses ofx or csv, so I use ofx. One really frustrating thing with my bank is if an account is closed (for instance when you lose a credit card), then the bank will not let you view your online account, but you can get a printed statement from a branch, which for some could be a 1000Km round trip (from branch closures)! Archaic! _______________________________________________ gnucash-user mailing list [email protected] To update your subscription preferences or to unsubscribe: https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-user ----- Please remember to CC this list on all your replies.
