You don't need an entertainment chatbot to tell you anything.

The fix is now well documented here on the list.

It isn't happening for all Windows users, just some.

Are you by chance trying to update the app with it still running? (this may provide a clue as to the cause)

The solution is to:

1. close the app first
2. uninstall it via the Windows' Apps section of Settings (or Control Panel's Applications & Programs)
3. delete the "gnucash" folder in "C:\Program Files (x86)"
4. re-attempt the install.
