John, thought we had nailed this as it has been 3 months since the
modified fix was applied without any crashes. But, it bit again today.
Updated info in the bug 799249 comment 82 & 83. New stack trace. Note
that the gnucash.trace file in /tmp was empty.

GnC crash stack trace
The trace file was empty. I had just started GnC and noted that the book I
opened was not the one I wanted. Clicked on File and selected the #2 entry on
recent files opened. GnC crashed.
Did coredumpctl gdb to get stack trace (eventually entered bt full and then q.

1. Original book was opened.
2. Selected #2 from recent opened
3. Told the file was locked -- opened anyway
4. File was successfully opened this time.
