Chris, GnuCash has been exceedingly stable with regard to its reconciliations, reports, and importing for a wide number of users for many years. Many of us have been using GnuCash literally for decades, and while it has not always been perfect, we have been able to use these features reliably over that time.
While I can understand how frustrating it can be when something doesn't work the way you think it should, it is not helpful to you or anyone else to toss out rash generalizations without further detail. What exactly do you think is unstable in the GnuCash feature set? David T.
