Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a short update: Cashdera v1.1.0 is now available.

Cashdera is a local analytics companion for GnuCash. It imports a GnuCash book into a local SQLite analytics cache and provides dashboards, transaction search, money-flow views, budget vs actual, net worth, year-over-year comparison, and other reporting views.

The main change in v1.1.0 is support for GnuCash books saved with the SQLite backend.

This was requested by GnuCash users after the previous release. Until now, Cashdera supported standard XML |.gnucash|files, including compressed XML files. Starting with v1.1.0, SQLite-format GnuCash books can also be imported.

Other changes:

 * Fixed account export so CSV files are written to the directory
   selected by the user instead of always going to Downloads.
 * Added SQLite-format GnuCash book import support.
 * Improved handling for the new SQLite import path.

Data handling remains the same:

 * The original GnuCash book is not modified.
 * Financial data is not uploaded anywhere.
 * No account is required.
 * No server sync.
 * No telemetry.
 * Data is processed locally.

Cashdera is available for:

 * Windows
 * macOS
 * Linux

Practical feedback is welcome, especially around SQLite import correctness, report accuracy, and performance with real-world GnuCash books.

Regards,
Ars
