With the report visible, click the Options button in the toolbar, then
view the Commodities tab. Play with your Price Source setting to see if
you can get what you want.
I know there used to be some issues with some of those options not
working quite right or as expected. But I don't recall if that has all
been resolved. You may want to check bugs.gnucash.org for more info.

When running the GunCash Balance Sheet report for any day in the past,
Stock values appear to display as of the next quote AFTER the date of
the report. So, if I want a report to show May 7 stock quote values, I
have to run the report for May 6.
Note this report shows all other values for the day of the report – so
all the other data is one day off from the May 7 I wanted.
Is there a setting somewhere I can change?
