Does "Total Return" therefore include "Income"? In my report it looks like "Total Return" = "Total Gain" + "Income". Also it looks as though "Basis" = "Money In" - "Money Out". Is that correct? If so, aren't the "Rate of Gain" and "Rate of Return" sometimes understated, since "Money In" isn't committed for the entire time for which gain and return are received?
