Normally two trading accounts occur when you have created the same security
under two different name space. Is that the case? If so what happened to the
entries in the second account?

Subject: [GNC] Trading accounts

By mistake, I have ended up with the same stock ETF in two different
Trading subaccounts.
  Trading:noLonger:GBTC
  Trading:us:GBTC

When I try to Delete one of those Trading accounts (noLonger:GBTC) and move
the transactions to another Trading account (us:GBTC), those
transactions end up in the wrong account (us_crypto:GBTC; which did not
exist before this action).

When I then tried to Delete (us:GBTC) and move to (us_crypto:GBTC), GnuCash
crashed.

When I restarted GnuCash, and ran Actions:Check & Repair:all,
Trading:us_crypto:GBTC
is gone. And the transactions using that ETF are back to the original
Trading accounts.

I am running GnuCash 5.16 on Fedora Linux 44
