Are you using XML file store as a backend in compressed form? 

If yes then I can write you up a small python script that can do that. 

Other types of backend will likely require SQL which I am not too comfortable 
with...

That was the problem.  Thanx.
After Check&Repair, the transactions were back to the way they were before I 
tried to fix them.

So, I deleted transactions using one of the GBTCs.
Deleted that stock account.
Deleted the corresponding GBTC from the Namespace.
Moved the remaining GBTC to the correct Namespace.
Recreated the stock account.
Re-entered the stock transactions.

Anyone know of a way to find stocks in more than one Namespace?
