GnuCash uses Finance::Quote to get prices.

You or someone else would need to write an F::Q module (or hack one of
the existing ones) to get prices from npsnav
Meanwhile it looks like getting prices into a spreadsheet and then
importing into to gnc via a CSV file is easily doable ... I'd count that
as a win.
P.S. I was initially confused by your use of "scheme code", I thought
you meant the language not the Ticker/ISIIN/equivalent.

This works well in a LibreOffice Calc cell with the formula
`NumberValue(WebService(<url>,".")`
Details of the API and a web interface to try it out with various
options are available at https://npsnav.in/api.
Can this be added as a source of quotes in GnuCash with scheme code
obtained from definition of the security?
