I tend to scan installation documentation and end up missing things too.
And the INSTALL files are getting pretty long. And it is definitely not
obvious how to get Windows to do this. One general rule though, doing
almost anything non-trivial with Windows involves an "Advanced" button.

I will mull this over. When in daemon mode though, perhaps I should have
the client retry on the next round no matter what errors occur. I could
also have the retries start at the specified intervals whether or not
the previous try is still waiting for some response from the OS.

Would you be willing to help debug changes using your environment? If
so, send me E-mail directly. The mailing list members probably won't
want to follow our exchanges.
