I think this was a question about GnuDIP?

Until a few weeks ago, GnuDIP 2.3.5 used the standard CGI Perl module.
It may be that the URL returned for the  current CGI by that module was
"http://..."; even when HTTPS was in use. The current version of 2.3.5
(that's right, I have not bothered to bump the version number - I am
tired of maintaining GnuDIP with no help) no longer uses the CGI module
(it is greatly over-rated). There is explicit support for HTTPS now.
