The updating works fine but regress.pl consistently crashes somewhere in semeai.tst. This means that the test files coming after 13x13.tst as well as the overall index stay out of date. If you, e.g., go into the nngs.tst index page you will find that it's up to date. I have no idea why it's crashing though, and since it's a perl script I don't expect to be able to find out.
