If you fail to port 3.6 you could try 2.6. At http://www.vieka.com/gnugo/ and other links at http://www.gnu.org/software/gnugo/free_go_software.html you will find some versions of GNU Go for small computers. The Vieka port seems to have recently jumped from GNU Go 2.6 to 3.2.
