Hi everyone. I bet some of you use stackoverflow.com. Then again, some of you are probably not mere mortals when it comes to writing programs. I bow to you, pilgrims in the holy way of St. IGNUtius.
If any mortal among you has not used/heard of stackoverflow.com, I would recommend it as a good resource for programming in general. It has improved the speed at which I code and at which I learn to code by at least a factor of ten. http://area51.stackexchange.com/proposals/11942/game-of-go?referrer=HmgCGKA1KBq37ioaqR_AEA2 is a link to a proposed site that will function in roughly the same way as stackoverflow.com, but with a focus on the game of go. The benefit to GNUgo is twofold here: first, that most people who have already signed up in favor of creating this site play go, and second that they can program, most of them professionally. That could mean a whole influx of new volunteer developers to GNUgo. Which is, after all, a penance here on earth.
