Hi,
I presume you mean Mac OS X? Current builds of Gnugo builds with CMake,
and CMake targets Mac OS X.
You're referring to an unspecified vendor's Mac app that bundles the
GNUgo engine; contact that vendor about updating to a modern version of
the GNUgo engine. Look at the current GNUgo web site[1] for pointers to
Mac OS X-based alternatives, so you can update from the Mac OS 9
abandonware you're apparently still using. :-)
