Richard has designed a really excellent GUI. I have repeatedly told him that for 0.1 this is too much to implement right away (of course, unless someone with good GUI coding skills just does it). I have written a few crude UI parts, those that I needed to prove schema functionality (allergies, vaccinations) and those that are in production (scan, index, view BLOBs). IMO it does not at all have to be the end of all GUIs for 0.1. That is a misconception.
