I will test it once it is out. I guess it will make it into Suse 9.3 as well
as 9.2 update. This is good news. As far as I know we still won't rely on
2.6 only. At least the major distributions carry it or there is a sane
upgrade path.

But you are the GUI man:-). The one who develops calls the shots (well
mostly). So once I have set up 2.4 on my box again I will continously test
both versions.

In a year or so we all will be laughing about this since I expect every
distro to ship 2.6 by then. And if not I will start pushing 2.6 as well.
For the time being there is no way around coping with the situation.
