There is, however, a little bit more credibility to Richard's
design suggestions than to "other" design suggestions: He DID
implement them as proof-of-concept and also parts of them in
an application that is in active use. It is not just designs.

The problem with this is that this doesn't seem to be a) the
way Richard works and b) his design ideas *can* be
implemented. His design is in large parts so nicely integrated
that one needs the all-or-nothing approach.
