Do I understand this correctly that your main worry about the
multisash approach is that it does not allow for enough screen
space per progress note editor ?

The plan is, btw, to write an alternative progress note editor
holder guided by your notebook idea of it. Come to think of it
if you really want you could do it now. The progress note editors
are not in any way wedded to the multisash.
