Yesterday I did some more testing of GNUmed in live patient
encounters.

The steps were:

1) before encounter:
- enter patient into GNUmed via wizard
- thereby the patient becomes active

2) during encounter
- type progress notes for episode(s) via notebook STC
- save progress notes in GNUmed

3) after encounter
- export progress notes for current encounter into text file
- recode and copy onto our legacy EMR system disk
- activate patient in legacy EMR
- import text file into legacy EMR

A bit cumbersome but worked well !

I'll try and connect my laptop to the legacy EMR LAN so as to
save me the floppy disc juggling.

I think we do need lots of people starting to test what is
there now and start telling us what to fix for the first
release.
