I can confirm latest CVS works, but the script does require an experienced operator. IMHO we should simplify the process. I admit there is an irreducible complexity in running a postgres database, but I'd like to remove the gratitutous complexity we add at present. Ideally, we should have one executable in bootstrap/, with an obvious name: "run_me.py" or somesuch.
