It's amazing. It simplay works. Just download the files above. Start synaptic if you are used to GUI and install gnumed-client. It will pick up all necessary files automagically (Thanks Andreas). Then press ALT+F2 and enter 'gnumed'. There simply cannot be any easier way to do this. It will show the login dialog and connect to the public database. It amazes me. And best of all. Since VMWARE images are single files I can aleays zip it up and send you a completely configured Debian system with the latest code. Takes 5 minutes. A completely preconfigured developer workstation. Great for grassroot marketing as well.
