> Even if I install the client ? Client and server overlap to some extent, yes. If the client is installed and works there should be enough of Python installed for the bootstrapper. The only other things you will need is postgresql(-server) itself -- which you already do -- and "sudo". The other dependancies listed above are needed by our cronned backup/sign/restore scripts but not instrumental to database installation.
