Also it is possible that the journal could be long and require a lot
of scrolling to get to the bottom.
On the Mac, none of the keyboard combinations appear to jump the view
(maybe because the cursor cannot actually set focus) to the bottom of
the text / view. Is that also true under Linux?
Can the view be pre-scrolled or pre-positioned to the bottom? Sorry
for seeming picky, but it would speed information access.
