I have uploaded v0.2.8.4. The changelog is:
FIX: crashes on opening progress notes editor
FIX: crash on dragging documents onto part list box
IMPROVE: Encoding deprecated in desktop files
IMPROVE: work around python logging module bug on Windows
IMPROVE: crash less often on faulty address data
Prepackaged versions will follow suit.
