Unfortunately, it's not true currently.
The gda and GnomeDB support for gnumeric 1.6.x requires newer versions of
libgda and libgnomedb than are available in Debian unstable at this point
and thus, these plugins are not being built in unstable. This has been the
case since October last year. I didn't update the description back then
because I hoped this would be a temporary situation. As things have turned
out differently, I'll make a note to update the description for my next
upload.
