Hi Eduardo, Many thanks for your detailed response which has got me up and running. I am not sure if you are a user of this application on the Nokia terminal but in the short time I have had it installed (5 mins) I have noticed that the application does not accept input directly into the cell, it seems to be necessary to select the cell and then tap into input box at the top of the screen before you start to type. Is this correct? Do I have it set up incorrectly or is this a known issue. I am looking to use this application as a mechanism for recording data for an asset survey and I am hoping that the combination of the Nokia N810 and Gnumeric will prove to be a lightweight solution with good battery life and sufficient screen real-estate to make the device useable. Obviously if one cannot type directly into the cell it's going to make the solution a whole lot less attractive. I would welcome your thoughts on this

If so please can you tell me how? > Gnumeric is available for the latest device software (OS2008) in the maemo extras-devel repository. To enable it follow these steps: 1) Open the Application Manager 2) On the App. Manager Menu, select Tools -> Application catalogue 3) On the dialog that opens, click on "New" button 4) On the next dialog type in the fields: Catalogue name: Maemo extras-devel Web address: http://repository.maemo.org/extras-devel Components: free non-free Leave the Distribution field empty. When you close both dialogs, refresh the application list and Gnumeric should appear in you list of installable applications.
