Is the Python interface to Gnumeric workbooks (as accessed by "import
Gnumeric") available as a stand alone or do I have to access it through the
Gnumeric Python console? I'm using Gnumeric for data collation and analysis
and need to interface through Python with other numerical simulation
software (which take Gnumeric data as input and create new data as output
which needs to be dumped back in another Gnumeric workbook). This works OK
if I run through the Gnumeric Python console but is a bit cumbersome. It
would be really cool if one could do this in a stand-alone script or from
within a shell such as IPython. Is this possible or planned in the future
development?
