Closing Parcellite did not solve the issue. Since Gnumeric behaves perfectly when I log in as a normal user on the host machine, I'm now believing that the behaviour is connected to logging in to that machine from a remote desktop using NXClient, and then using Gnumeric. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where the problem might lie?
