export/import to emacs org table mode, conserving the formula

Hi

I am using quite a bit emacs org mode's table editor. I know how to
import and export to xlsx (which, unfortunately most of my colleagues
use), by using ssconvert. 
However this is done by
xlsx-->csv-->orgmode
or 
orgmode-->csv-->xlsx
and all the formulas are *not* preserved since csv does not support that.

So the question, are there any plans to export/import from gnumerics
native format to emacs org's table mode *conserving* the formula?
