Greetings Fellow GNUmp3d Users, I have been having a particularly frustrating problem with serving a subset of my audio files on my own personal GNUmp3d server.
The problem I have been experiencing is related (mostly) to mp3 audio files (no encrypted bits here :) with the .m4a file extent ion. It seems with my configuration of the latest stable release (just setup again 2 weeks ago) Serves files .m4a for direct download entirely before the song plays, while for the first 2 weeks I ignored this, continued use has begun to exasperate me as I must wait for a bulk of my audio collection to actually download the entire audio file before it can be started / played by my local audio client. I looked for a configuration option to control this behavior but could not seem to find one at first glance. Would someone else who might have a little more experience in this regard shed some light on to my situation as to where I can alter or extend this (wonderful) free software program to support streaming the files on the fly instead of downloading the files completely before starting the playing of the audio stream / file. respectfully, //kracker buck_65 :this_right_here_is : b.sc. _______________________________________________ Gnump3d-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/gnump3d-users
