I was able to get it to start without indexing, though an error still appeared. 
 Oh, the new playlist plugin wouldn't work when it was told to play a
playlist.  This is what happened:

 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/gnump3d-2.9.9$ gnump3d -fast
